The plot is located between the Châtillon-sur-Seine industrial zone and the cereal fields. It is a technical inspection center for heavy goods vehicles under the Autovision brand franchise. This brand has a very strict charter regarding the colors to be applied to the walls and signage. We wanted the signage to be an integral part of the building and not an affixed element.

 

We wanted the building to be traversed by the landscape, which is why the truck control hall is made of transparent corrugated polycarbonate. A fully glazed vestibule connects the large, translucent unheated volume to a small, opaque volume in natural aluminum cladding that includes the heated areas. Signage in dense colors placed on shiny facade materials evokes the image of a truck with a very modern design.
