Boulangerie Eric & Jacqueline

Located along the RN71, the building had to attract the attention of motorists. The budget being very limited, it was necessary to find a clever solution to create an 'extra-ordinary' building with little means. We were inspired by shopping trucks to study a system of shutters with hydraulic jacks. These large shutters (2.4m x 2.4m) offer several advantages: attract the attention of passers-by to the establishment, let people know if the store is open, make the building more secure when it is closed and create an outdoor space sheltered from the sun and rain.

This is a very standardized construction, 10-meter wide porticos form 4 spans of 5 meters. The building is entirely covered by translucent cladding to lighten its silhouette. At night, it transforms into a luminous parallelepiped.
