Hérard et da Costa
Created in 2009 by Frédéric Hérard and Natalina da Costa.
The workshop has acquired experience on very diverse programs from both public and private orders, in the context of renovations as well as new constructions.
This is a deliberately generalist workshop, covering all types of programs and in all types of contexts.
We explore projects at all scales: development of public spaces, architectural project management, works of art, signage, design of objects and furniture, etc.
Multiple award winners, including:
EIFFEL TROPHIES 2021 and 2023

Invited to exhibit their work at the VENICE ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE, their works have been published by several media and publishers specializing in architecture.
Our approach integrates landscape, urban, territorial and architectural dimensions.
Optimization of resources and control of construction costs are essential in our projects.
The studio adopts a functional architectural approach, while being imbued with poetry. We focus on the essential, seeking to create intelligent and sensitive spaces, where each element is carefully justified.
